Henry M. Lee is one of the most aggressive and successful local trial attorneys with over 22 years of litigation experience including countless jury and bench trials with numerous multimillion dollar recoveries. He obtained his legal education at the prestigious UCLA School of Law, ranked in the top 15 law schools in the Nation. Mr. Lee’s education included full time externship with a United States District Court Judge, and certified law clerk position with the County of Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.
After graduating in 1991, Mr. Lee started his legal career working in SIU (Special Investigations Unit) for the largest insurance carriers in the nation, gaining keen insight into the secrets of insurance company claims analysis. Not finding fulfillment working for large corporations, Mr. Lee focused the next 21 years of his career helping victims of harassment, discrimination, wrongful termination, and catastrophic personal injuries. Over the past two decades, Mr. Lee successfully recovered tens of millions in compensation for his clients, litigating against some of the largest corporations in the country and the world. Mr. Lee is also one of a few handful of attorneys to obtain court approval to act as class counsel in several substantial class action cases ranging from 50 class members to over 10,000 class members.

Mr. Lee’s firm is also responsible for two significant appellate decisions, creating substantial changes to existing law. In Yun Hee So v. Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital, Mr. Lee successfully represented the victim of assault and battery committed by a doctor. The appellate decision created a new exception to the strict one year statute of limitations on claims against health care practitioners. The decision helps certain victims who don’t know about or can’t file their lawsuit within the strict one year time limit. In the second appellate decision, Henry M. Lee Law Corporation v. Superior Court, Mr. Lee’s firm created new law, that attorney’s fees in wage and hour cases belong to the attorneys who labored to earn those fees. This new law protects an employee’s attorney where unscrupulous employers try to undercut or avoid paying for the employee’s attorney’s fees to gain an unfair advantage in litigation.
